Verified URLS - feature suggestion

I understand this may be hard/annoying to implement but I think about it a lot

It would be useful  to know what was the initial source for verified URL  (by reading GSA log file for example)

by source I mean either
1. clipboard
2. file ( which filename)
3. search engine query (which query, which search engine)

I am really interested only about 3.

Actually this is already tracked internally. I added it a long time ago to track what search engine performs best on what footprint. Just that this data was never actively used later on.
Though it's still a bit of work to provide this data in a good form.
  • I have a lot of problems with the verification of the urls that often returns urls as being more present and when I check by hand the article and present and the link too where can the problem come from?
I try to find a solution but always with mixed results!
if it's a pity because at urls level we delete spots and viable pages.
On a 100 it finds me 20 bad result and when I look one by one the result I manage to recover 10/12 urls which are good!
    thx

@draculax thats a different topic, but usually its because of slow servers or proxies being down.
  • so what is the solution?

next update will remove things only if it failed 5 times in a row.
  • without any particular adjustment ?

not right now as I think 5 time checking is more than enough...at least better than removing it after first failer.
