Add Tags/Colors to Articles?

Hi,
is there any way to add tags/ colors to articles?
For example, I`d like to mark article that has been posted, I don`t want to delete it, just mark - so I know that it was used - is that possible to do?

    when an article is posted you see that in the "Published" column. You can also ignore that and publish and define to skip published articles as there is an option to handle it.
