Email catch-all with htpasswd?

Hi guys,

I have a catchall server that is behind an nginx reverse proxy that setups authentication for the server. Is there anyway i can give GSA SER an htpasswd file so it can login my proxy and join the SMTP/POP3 server for reading emails?

    no, but you can than as well prepare a import file with the accounts.

    But without authentication how is supose GSA SER to communicate with the server without authentication even tho i import a file with the accounts? Any response would resolve with auth requested in that case

    sorry, maybe I misunderstood you what you have setup here.

    That SER needs is a pop3 server, a port, email and login/password. You can use spin syntax and macros on email and login part.

    Not exactly, I meant to let the web service without authentication since its in a private network and just authenticate the public connections using an htpasswd file in the body like: https://docs.nginx.com/nginx/admin-guide/security-controls/configuring-http-basic-authentication/

    But i just ended up setting up my own mail server without the need of third party auth.
