[COLLABORATIVE WORK] Translate titlegen.dat in French / Traduire titlegen.dat en français

Hello everybody,

I would like to start translating titlegen.dat in french, but it is a tedious task (almost 1500 lines to translate !).
Since I don't have a lot of time to spend on it per day (just like you, I guess !), I propose to all people of good will to participate in the translation of this file, in order to make it ultimately available to the community.
I plan to work at a rate of 20 lines per day. The more we will be, the faster we will be able to benefit from a functional file !
There are only two conditions, which go without saying: Mastering both French and English. I'm not talking about using DeepL, you really need to master these two languages, because some translations are difficult to transcribe.

You can find it in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\GSA Content Generator\Lang_Data\en\

If some of you wish to participate, I will PM you a link to a Google Doc file (I won't leave it here so that this file won't be edited by ill-intentioned people).

Je souhaiterai débuter la traduction de titlegen.dat en français, mais il s'agit d'une tâche fastidieuse (quasiment 1500 lignes à traduire !).
Vu que je n'ai pas énormément de temps à y consacrer par jours (tout comme vous je suppose !), je propose à toutes les personnes de bonne volonté de participer à la traduction de ce fichier, afin de le mettre in fine à la disposition de la communauté.
Je compte m'astreindre à un rythme de 20 lignes par jours. Plus nous serons nombreux, plus vite nous pourrons bénéficier d'un fichier fonctionnel !
Il n'y a que deux conditions, qui vont de soi : Maîtriser le français et l'anglais. Je ne parle pas d'utiliser DeepL, il faudra vraiment maîtriser ces deux langues, car certaines traductions sont ardues à transcrire.

Vous pourrez le trouver dans C:\Users\Nom d'utilisateur\AppData\Roaming\GSA Content Generator\Lang_Data\en\

Si certains d'entre vous désirent participer au projet, je vous communiquerai en MP un lien vers un fichier Google Doc (je ne le laisse pas traîner ici pour que ce fichier ne soit pas édité par des personnes mal intentionnées).

    That file contains english templates to create your title. Of course you need that translated to the target language other than english.

    you have to create a new file then with the FR translation.
    Because if you use English from time to time .

    @royalmice Im afraid that this is not good enough. You probably took the whole document and translated it as it is. That however has many drawbacks:
    • due to spin syntax, the translator does not know the sentence meaning and will destroy the resulting translation
    • many parts are simply not translated
    • some have no macro for the keyword in it
    • some macros are translated as well
    • sometimes only parts of the spin syntax are translated

    L'objectif est de pouvoir le structurer en Masculin, féminin en fonction des keywords à utiliser.

    Pour les variables, ça sera simple de les remplacer par métier

    Hello, you can also generate your content in english and then translate it in French.

    I'm french and i can contribuate (~ 15 lines per day ), it will be more convenient to use a collaborative tool like Github. :)

    Can you us create it?
    Sure, it would be easier to make modifications and add sections.

    Though I have no access to this and coded it in blindly based on there API description. If you can test it any maybe determinate if it's of any use I would be happy to know.

    Unless I'm mistaken, there is already a good stopword file ? : stop_word
    There are also websites to give them away.
