This might be a daft question, but if I'm only using this for solving captchas to submit forms, should I deselect every other and only have Contact Forms checked?

If so, will this speed the software up and consequently speed up GSA Contact?

    No, leave all as default...there are many types not in "contact forms" category that are used everywhere.
