skip sublink parsing for contact forms

I've only just noticed this option which isn't checked by default.

Can you explain what this actually does when checked?

Does it mean it will only check the URL added for a form and won't search other pages?

Any idea why when I tried this with 2 identical lists of URLs, checking this option actually took longer than having it deselected?

The list was a list of domains with 'contact' in the URL, that I'd scraped from Scrapebox.

Sorry no, I have no idea why it would take longer. The exact behavior is this as follow:

[X] skip sublink parsing for contact forms
    - Parse imported URL and scan for contact forms; stop if found
    - if no form was found, scan for sublinks and scan each site (sorted by score) for contact forms and stop once found

[-] skip sublink parsing for contact forms
    - Parse imported URL for sublinks and scan each site (sorted by score) for contact forms and stop once found

That sublink parsing is still done if no contact form was found...so in the worst case it is indeed taking longer

So would you say, that in theory, if I have a big list of domains with 'contact' in the URL, I'm better off selecting this option?

So the sites will be like:

    xyz.com/contact
    abc.com/contact-us
    cde.com/kontact
    etc
