Links on page not working

I am sure you have answered this many times @Sven but links on page I have specified as 25 maximum and yet I see all my links pretty much are on pages with like 100s of links or more...

Is there a reason for this, and we can improve the accuracy?

    Can have different reasons:
    1. The URL is part of the target URL itself and then SER takes the seen link as verified when opening without checking as it's dynamic anyway.
    2. The link was build with another program or just being there and SER picks it up as it's already live anyway
    3. The link created was on it's own subpage where SER has little chance checking (only once it's created) like an article page or profile one.
