Conflict between CapMonster and GSA-PS

Good morning, all. :)

Finally got CAPmonster.

Stating conflict with GSA Proxy Scraper.

If I change the IP and ports of GSA-CB would it be OK, then?

I am presently using default IP and ports 1001,1010,1011,1100,1111,2222,3333,4444,5555,8080,9090,9999

    1. Turn off GSA Captcha Breakers's webserver option if you use it with GSA products only
    2. PS can use any port you want...just not use it for 443 and 80. The PR Emulator inside PS might not work when using CapMonster unless you make sure port 80 is onyl used for PS.

OK, I didn't have GSA-CB set up as a webserver. So, that part  is OK.

But I still haven't gotten  PS to work with CAPmonster.

CAPmonster can be set to a different port (other than 80, default). I left it as 80.

I presently have on GSA-PS set as the IP. But not port 80.

Still getting errors. What am I doing wrong?
  • SvenSven
    what error in detail?
  • DeeeeeeeeDeeeeeeee the Americas
    OK, CAPmonster says:
"The following processes can conflict with the service. Please end these processes to ensure proper work of the service. Do you want to end these processes automatically (Data may br lost)?

    Proxy_Scraper (PID = 15940)

This happens if I have PS open first, and then open CAPmonster. So the ReCaptcha Sitekey Addon is disabled...

    This happens

if I have PS set as with ports 1001,1010,1011,1100,1111,2222,3333,4444,5555,8181,9090,9999

    Same err msg

Do you use the PR Emulator inside PS (Tools->metric scanner->PR Emulator checkbox)?
  • DeeeeeeeeDeeeeeeee the Americas

Sven, can you quickly go over what that feature is for? Does it affect the proxy scraper's operation in any way, checked or unchecked, or is it just for when using this tool?
  • DeeeeeeeeDeeeeeeee the Americas
OK, Sven. it works now. :) Thank you!

Time to see what this new set-up can do! :p
  • SvenSven
    OK glad it finally works
