Message not displaying properly when using '

I'm just testing by sending the following message: Hi there, how's things?

However, when the email comes through, it shows as:

Hi there, how\'s things?

Any suggestions as to why this is happening? I've checked the 'message' input and it definitely doesn't include the \ symbol.

I can't find the Delete option on the thread, but I've sorted it. It's a Wordpress theme problem, not this software.
