How can I block from submitting to certain types of sites?

CyberwebbyCyberwebby https://bulkcomments.net
Hello, how do I block from submitting to certain types of sites, such as .gov? I already set the project up and added URLs and forgot to filter beforehand, but now I've noticed that it's submitting to .gov sites and I don't want to do that. So just wondering if there's something I can put into the software to have it skip over submitting to .gov sites or any other type of sites I want to skip with this project.

you can add !.gov in the project's url filter or add that globally as well.

Ok thanks, added it to global settings for now. Also, I see there that there is some link already there that says 'asianvirtualsolutions'...what exactly is that?

Am I supposed to put asterisks * around this? Also just wondering what's the difference when it says use word or mask?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
no * ... the !.gov should do the job.

Ok, I have added !.gov to the global filter, but where would I add it in the 'project URL filter'?  There are two places where I see it says "Domain/Path must contain...use word/mask" and then the box under says "Website must contain...use word/mask". This is confusing to me, plus I'm still not really understand the difference between the Word or Mask usage.

wait, the global blacklist accepts domains only, no negate syntax like !

Well you said to put this !.gov into the global filter. Now what do you want me to do ? All of this is just unclear...at least to me it is. Maybe if you could provide some screenshots or videos it would be easier to understand.

no, I thought you where talking about the project's filter. The global one doesn't need any !.

To be clear, please just tell me what exactly what to put in the global filter and the project filter, because I'm confused now going back & forth on this.

Well it's all in the app itself

    global filter:
    enter domains only like domain.com

    project filter:
since this is a must have filter, you can negate it to read !domain.com and everything but domain.com is accepted then.

I need a way to simply block all .gov extensions, not just specific domains. Is there way to do that or not?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
just add *.gov to the global filter list to skip all of that.

    @Sven

Do I also have to add www.domain.com when using global filter or will domain.com also filter subdomains?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    that should also filter subdomains
