How Does Add>>Use Search Engines Work?

Hello, Sven and GSA users!

Anyone know how this works? I see there's a window where I can enter (common) ports.

But when I hit enter, it looks like GSA Proxy Scraper tests the proxies already found, then seems to check known sources.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also: Is there a way to check/uncheck using a proxy with the search engines?

This will query you for the actual search queries to use.

That can be proxies itself (types listed above) as well as your own queries to locate websites that list proxies.
