    There is a list of IP ranges known to be operated by certain organizations (you know what I mean) where you don't want to send sensitive data to.

    However, that list of IP Ranges is old and probably every IP range with a public proxy is nowadays under control of these organizations.

    Personally I ignore that and try not to share any sensitive data with proxies (unless crypted).
