why this situation arises here

i am bit confused with the link i have submitted here, as it is showing here that 32 have been submitted but when it comes about verification the number is going to 521. how is that possible? can i know the process or reason for such type of situation?

    OK once more...this is getting boring/annoying.

    It's because the project option only counts submissions where an URL was submitted, not the one needed for account creation.

    I also have a few projects that show submissions going down and sometimes ending up lower than verified.

    From the FAQ:

    Why are there more verified than submitted links?
    If a submitted URL timed out (to many unsuccessful checks) it will be removed, so the number of submitted links can decrease and is sometimes lower than the number of verified links.
