Anchor text spintax question when attached to url

edited March 2013 in Need Help
When attaching the anchor text directly to the URL what is the best way to spin our anchors so that we maintain an acceptable variation?
Since spintax can produce random percentages I set up my URLs like this:

http://mysite.com/#{main kw|main kw|main kw|lsi kw 1|lsi kw 2|lsi kw 3|lsi kw 4|lsi kw 5|%url%|generic kw 1|generic kw 2}

I was curious if any of you have a better way of structuring your anchors when attaching it directly to the URL?
Also, how often would you change the lsi keywords and/or the generic keywords?
I'm wanting to keep my main keyword <40%...

Thanks,
George

  • I was wondering if @Ron - or anyone else would be willing to comment on the way I've set up my anchors when attached to the urls.

    I just stick in my best 10 anchors. No tokens. Give the website a chance to rank.

    Then see how people are getting there with which keywords. Then you can modify those keywords, add additional ones in the secondary keyword spot, tweak as you go...

  • @Ron - Thanks!
  • @Ron - I have another question on this if you dont mind.

    Can you clarify what you mean by your 10 best keywords?

    Thanks for your contributions to this forum!

    The 10 most closely related to the main term, and they typically have decent volumes associated with them. I'm not going to stick a term in there that has only 50 searches a month.
