Site crawl not crawling

Hello 

when trying to crawl a website to collect links to post as backlinks i dont get any crawl results only the one i submitted, The crawler finishes as soon as i press the crawl button with no results at first i thought it might be something wrong with my website but i tried : http://google.co.uk with the same happening. Just thought you should know.

    Ah yeah, Thought it was my computer, hmm maybe its stupid Norton anti virus blocking something

    thank you il try unblocking firewall
