Do I need use Related keywords only for my projects

Want to know that in "Keyword" column, Do I need to add keywords which are related to my niche OR I can add keywords from any niche.

Right now, I have added around 50,000 keywords from adwords into "Keywords" column. These keywords are many all categories/niches.

Will it hurt my rankings?

    I would never use any unrelated keywords but thats up to you.
