how to add link in Forum profile?

hey all, rookie here.
just wonder how GSA handle the links in profile, i mean, i can add <a href="%url%">%anchor_text%</a> in a signature, but there are many forum use for urls right?
i found macro  %link% in doc but it's also "gets internally handled as <a href=“%url%”>%anchor_text%</a>"
Or should just use %url% for a link?

When setting up a project, you always should use html syntax. That syntax is later converted to a format that the website understands.

Meaning your <a href=... is later converted automatically to whenever required.

Also you don't have to add a link on that signature part. SER will add it for you if there is no link already set. But indeed if you have a better phrase/sentence than the default one that SER adds, it might be a good idea.
