Email Verify of Yahoo & Hotmail Addresses

Hi

1) If a proxy passes the gmail test, is it likely to work on Yahoo and Hotmail?
2) if not, 

connection=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com:25

;|alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com:25|alt2.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com:25|alt3.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com:25|alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com

Would I just change this in the INI to:
connection=smtp.mail.yahoo.com:25

1) yahoo is more picky than gmail
2) yes that should work if smtp.mail.yahoo.com is actually the correct mx server.
