what is the meaning of monitor files/folders?

in GSA Platform Identifier
does this type of project can monitor one file or folders and auto platfom them?
if a scraping file name :list1.txt
can i make a project and monitor this file list1.txt and platform it when scraping is on the way?

    PI checks the files/folder for new content. If it finds new stuff there it will process it.

    Example:
    You scrape with Scrapebox and dump the files into a folder.
    PI checks the folder and when it finds the new file in the folder it will process it according to your project settings.

    There was a problem PI monitoring scrapebox default scraping folder a while ago. I also had problems with it when Scrapebox automator dumped files into a shared folder but that was a long while ago. You should ask @santos if he has worked out a solution for that since then.

    @TheGypsy - A lot of people use it with the automator plugin so it should work fine. The only reason it didn't work without automator was because SB would lock the file when it was writing to it so Pi couldn't access it. 

    @foxymak - Yes Pi should be able to monitor the file while SB is scraping if you use the SB automator plugin.
