How to Use GSA Templates

So i have these GSA Template files with the extension ".ser", However, when trying to import a new template in GSA (New>Tools>Import>Templates) it's asking for a file with ".gsatml" extension.

What's wrong here, How can i use those GSA Templates?

    Thats not a template. *.ser files are full backups of projects with all included. You can restore them when right clicking on projects window->modify->restore.

    @Sven So i can import the Backups and edit the data, right?

    Once you load the *.ser file back into GSA-SER, you may edit the project data.

    The *.ser file that you initially loaded does not get altered as you change data.

    You should therefore make numerous periodic .ser backups once you start entering data.
