GSA Search Engine Ranker 12.06 Freezes all the time

I have upgraded to 12.06 and it keeps freezing all the time. I have the freezing issue on 2 machines: Windows Server 2008 64bit & Windows 7 64bit. I had to roll back to 11.93 (latest I had) and the freezing issue disappeared right away. Sven, can you please have a look into that? Does anyone have the same issue with 12.06?

    Mine started doing it also with 12.05 and 12.06 no problems with earlier releases.  Mine doesn't freeze it gives the crash error and have to close program.  Sometimes it will run for hours with no problem.

    I didn't.  I will when it happens again.  It can ran hours with no problems so it may be a bit before it happens again.  anything else you need?

    Sven, I just sent you a bug report. I was running 300 threads with 50 proxies. I was using macro %file% almost in every field of the project. When I downgrade and run the same project in 11.92 version of GSA, it runs just fine.

    I couldn't send a bug report but this is what came up.  One thing I noticed is One of the SERengines process was using 1,170.3 MB of memory

    @getpaid that files are kind of big right? And it looks as they are not utf8 encoded. I made some changes on next update to be less resource hungry though.

    @dab this is something else it seems. Might have to do with serengine but Im not sure. This dump is not giving me much to work with.

    All my files are ANSI encoded. Would changing them into utf8 help?

    hmm then it should be almost equal if you encode it in utf8 or ansi. Just a few chars are different here as e.g. the quotes. Anyway, next update should be less resource hungry, but if you encode them to utf8, it will also help in terms of speed as SER doesn't have to convert the content on its own.

    Does SER just go black for you when it happens with an error message as below? I have had it a few times recently.

    @Sven That was before I updated to the latest version and SERE was running at the time. It hasnt happened since I updated though.
