Using Video In Backlinking - Why Articles??

I don't really get why I need to insert an article into GSA when I am just using it for video? I've created myself a few link building vids, but why do I need to put articles??

Do they need to be decent quality? I'm using it for a T1 project.

    well some of the video engines allow you to post articles/blogs. Thats it.

    Right I see, I didn't realise that thanks @Sven so my options are find all the ones that do and untick them or create an article :)

    Or you can just go to project setting and right click on the article field then choose "Disable engines that use Articles"
