The video file does not exist (Check access rights)

I am getting this error every time I want to upload a video when I check the video platforms. Can you please help.

so? Are you sure it is readable ?
  • Hi Sven, I am not sure what does readable mean. I mean I can watch the video, I have uploaded it to youtube etc,, thanks
  • SvenSven
Readable means that the software has actually the access rights from your system to read it. No restrictions.
  • Oh ok, how do I do that?
  • SvenSven
well in what folder is it saved? Is that a user folder with the login in the path ?
  • Its on the desktop. There is no login that I am aware of. Just the login and password when you logon when after you start windows 7.

if it's on desktop then it should work just fine. But make sure no other program has opened that file, else it might be not available from reading.
  • I have made a copy of that video file and then the same error apeared, then I changed the name of it and boom, done! Now it accepted it. Thank you

    what was the name before?
  • Just changed it from name-of-video-1.MP4 to name1.MP4 thats it...
