Bug with Joomla K2 Submissions?

Evening @Sven,

Not sure whats going on with Joomla K2 and its submissions but a few days ago I noticed that its submissions have gone crazy, its to the stage now where its not possible to open the submitted URLs tab to clear them down.

One of my projects has this for example....
Submitted - 435439
Verified - 5749

It should have submitted around 20,000 for the day, not almost half a million.

    hmm only changes I have made are with the scheduled postings...you use that?

    Nope its just a regular active project, seems to be happening to all of the projects that have Joomla K2 in them. I put K2 in their own project now and most other contextuals in another and the batch with the other types is running regular.

    Yea whats up with Joomla K2, i get a ton of these links as well (verified). Are they good links at least or spammy like the rest of the contextual type links with 300k posts and where a new post shows up every few seconds

    Since its introduction K2 has always been a high yeild contextual engine for verified links. I never used ot use it but something happened a few month back. It seems Joomla patched their engine and thus the K2 got an upgrade too, the dates of the patch matched almost exactly with a massive decrease in the K2 targets that worked with SER, since then I have been using it and noticed a much higher index rate with the engine so I will keep using it for now.

    But this thread is about its submissions, recently its submission count has massively increased for no apparent reason.

    Although its not shown in the video after time a small number of those submissions do turn into verifieds but I dont understand where SER is getting the targets from to get so many submissions today I ran a K2 project for a short time and it was displaying over 250,000 submissions with just over 2000 verifieds, I have about a few thousand K2 domains on my verified list.

    @shaun was that video made with the latest version? Because I found and fixed a bug with scheduled posting there.

    @sven, just checked thats the latest version. I will be running some K2 campeigns on live projects later so will be able to pull more data from them.
