Looking at webmaster tools I see a nonindex page has been found but does not show in search results. 

Any point in building links to a non indexed page?

    Not in my opinion. I have done various tests that showed no benefit of no follow and no index links.

    In theory noindex page's shouldn't since they're blocked from Google's crawler; especially if the links on the page are nofollow. With just noindex, Google can follow links on your page still and rank those. With nofollow on, Google won't follow those pages when ranking your site.
