Email password in .prj file

Email password is for example "emailpass" but in the file it is "pop3 pw=b8b3g*&@#gy". How to set password in project by editing the .prj file? Do I need to encrypt this password using some algorithm?

    use ##password

    That double # will tell SER that the email password is not encrypted.
