Adding a specific link in article manager

Hello Sven (or whoever else sees this)

I have been posting articles that I want to contain a specific link.  For example, in the article box something like this may appear:

"...if you want to find out more about <a hrefs="http://www.google.com">Google</a> then visit them today..."

When I preview the article it looks great, but after I look at the verified submissions the links are not posted.  What am I missing?  If I can't use straight html is there a workaround to place a specific link with a specific anchor text in an article?

    you mean that this appears as html on the page instead of a normal link?

    No, it just doesn't show up as a link at all.
