Collect Keywords from Target Sites

Is this working for anyone else? My campaigns are no longer collecting new keywords.  In previous versions this worked as expected and I could click the tool and see all of the new keywords.  I've had a campaign running with 1 keyword all day and it hasn't found any more keywords.

you saw nothing in log about new keywords? The keywords get only extracted from engines that also use your keywords to find target sites (blog comments e.g.). If you have that disabled, you will not find new keywords.

Thanks @Sven.  If I have a keyword and it's searching all google search engines, will it find additional keywords and populate my keyword box? I'm only running Drupal blogs for this project, does that matter?
  • Yeah, I've always wondered how this worked too.

@Brandon, the new keywords are pulled from meta-keywords tag in html source. Not from google or any other source. So for Drupal-Blog this is not working as these are engines that do not use your defined keywords to get target sites. Using these meta keywords would get you to many unrelated keywords.

Thanks @Sven that makes perfect sense.  Which platforms pull keywords?
  • Brandon, if you want to extract the keywords anyways try putting this in the setup step: extract keywords=1

all engines with a dark green color

    Thanks @Sven!

@skoh have you tried it? Does it work?  Which file does that go in?

Open the drupal engine and change the 0 to 1 on line 21 ... You can open it by double clicking it in the project settings. It should work, although I've never tested it.
