it now looks like there is a new kind of new 30-dayish links sandbox for new sites and new pages on old sites

I recently published new pages with new content on my old site. The keyword was very low competition but after one week the pages remain at 60 - 70 in serps. Does G sandbox new pages on old sites? Any test case study?
