SER takes ages to open, often crashes

Hi,

In the latest couple of versions of SER, it's taking a really long time to open, sometimes 15 minutes or more. Sometimes it doesn't open and just crashes after a few minutes, showing the error message with a message like "SER appears to have frozen" and options continue, restart and close the program.

I'm running it on a dedicated server, no other programs are running. It's on Windows Server 2012.

If there's any information I can give to help solve this, just let me know.

    I had that issue, my vps was pooping out on me. Switched to a different server, works now.

    toasterman your bugreport shows that counting verifed/submitted entries for projects take ages. Either it is really that huge or the hd is somehow slow/damaged. How many projects/verified/submitted entries do you have here?

    Ah, I didn't realise it counted them all, I assumed it was cached.

    This must be the problem because I guess these numbers are really high.
