You always seem to get me wrong. When you have a VPN (Virtual Private Network), you usually don't need any proxy as all traffic is routed through that VPN.
khizerishtiaq : if you are talking of GSA SER LPM/VPM then it actually depends on your GSA SER settings as well as the backlinks list you are using. Example if you are searching using search engines then the LPM/VPM will be less as resources are being shared in finding the appropriate website links as per your setting.
If you use a ready made list available then LPM/VPM will increase provided the list is decent enough.
For proxies , buyproxies.org are excellent vendors to have dedicated/semi dedicated ones. The support is excellent and those guys never seem to sleep. To complement those proxies,you can have a tool like GSA Proxy scraper to scrape public proxies in bulk.
