What is the footprint, how it is function in GSA SER? Can you please elaborate?

    A footprint is some text on a website which is kind of unique and almost always appearing for that platform.
    It doesn't necessarily have to be the usual "Powered by XYZ". It can be a combination of texts like:

    "MOST RECENT BLOGS" "blog articles" "Post Comment" "Create New Blog Entry" (taken from AVS engine)

    SER uses a combination of fixed footprints and your keywords to locate target sites automatically. In the Footprint Studio tool (options->advanced->tools->footprint studio) you can define your own.
