Does SER need to have its projects backup via SER GUI?

I'm writing a cygwin bash backup script for my windows server 2008.

I get access violation errors when I try to backup my projects from SER's GUI(Right Click/Modify Projects/Backup Projects).

Edit: Strange, I got them when backing up to drive D : \.

It seems to be able to backup to My Documents though. Still, it doesn't like backing up 20GB project files on 95 projects./edit.

My settings from Options can be backuped normally.

I just wonder if I just backup the whole C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\gsaser\projects folder then will that work too?

of course you can do a backup of the whole folder. Would be the same if you zip this up to a file and name it *.ser.

    Thanks Sven.

I really don't know what causes the access violation bullshit because other software can write to directories where I tried to save my projects.

Are you sure it has something to do with the access rights? Maybe the amount of data to pack is just too big here.

Perhaps that's correct. My projects were over 20GB large because of remaining target urls.
