Verified links pointing to other urls

I am noticing that the verified links for some blog comments are pointing to a wrong (but related) urls. For example, if my target url is a tinyurl (http://tinyurl.com, then I'm getting other tinyurls showing up as verified links on the project. Is this normal and is anything else having this issue? wondering if I'm doing anything wrong?

This could happen if you turned off the option to verify exact URLs in project. Then any URL with the same domain will count as verified.
