What's this doing? I assume it is GSA scraping URLs for my project, meaning it takes into account the global search options combined with footprints and the keywords that are specific to my project. 

If so...

When does it finish? Should it? If it does, when does it re-run and get more?

Also...what seems confusing is that the URLs it is finding should be connected to my keywords which are project specific, but if future projects don't use the same keywords, will they use these same URLs? That doesn't make sense.

Thank you for any advice or input, even if you have a RTFM link that I've missed.

    This is filling your "identified site lists" with URLs. It is not project specific as no project keywords are used.

    What initiates it? Me filling in the footprints?

    Is this just a list of sites that fit a specific footprint so that you can post to them? If so, it seems as though there would be a global list of sites that would be available to everyone. 

    Does that make sense?

    Sorry, I'm just trying to understand where it fits into the system.

    there is no global site for everyone. But indeed some engines use just there internal footprints to locate new sites and not your projects keywords.
