    the best way to pitch PR is to use what is called an 'elevator pitch' method. imagine walking on to an elevator, and your dream client is standing there. you have a minute to get interest and pitch your value proposition. same goes for written PR pitches. Short and to the point. Works much better than a long rambling press release.
