Reverts to older GSA version (1.04)

I moved my GSA installation to another PC, and even though I update the software (for example now I updated to 10.11), whenever I restart that PC the version reverts to 1.04 (I am pretty sure it was the version that GSA was originally when I copied in from the other PC). Is there any potential fix to this problem without losing my data?

    I guess you copied it to a wrong folder and the update is now installing to a different one. Try downloading the demo version and install it manually over your current one to the right folder.
