Authority links

edited August 2015 in Need Help
Am I right to say that if in the Article tab I check "Insert up to 0-1 random/authority URLs for random words" and then check "Try to use search engines to find
related links" and check "Own URLs" and then copy MY own authority URLs in, then GSA would use MY list of authority site links and NOT use the generic ones like
"http://abcnews.go.com/search?searchtext=%anchor_text%
http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result?p=%anchor_text%&submit-go=Search+Y!+Answers
http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=%anchor_text%"

And am I right to say that if I DON'T check "Own URLs", then it'll just search for actual URLs based on my keyword but won't put the above links I just pasted. I don't like those above links because they leave a footprint. So I'm just confirming there are two ways not to get those general authority links above - 1) Input my own links in "Own URLs" or 2) I don't need to check "Own URLs" but I can get the search engine to give me real links by checking the "Try to use search engines to find
related links" alone.

Thanks.
