Target Countries for US Website?

The primary target country for my site is the US. I am planning to build links on sites from other countries where English is the primary language (US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada) There are a few other English speaking countries that I have left out. But should I consider posting to countries where English is not the dominant language as well?

Or am I going about this all wrong and should only focus on US, UK, and Canada?
