Submitted Sites Not Verifying

Hi, Im new to GSA SER and am a little stuck with the verification process.

I have 200 yahoo emails which worked fine with blog post comments. But now have created a project for:

Articles
Web 2.0

And get lots of registered but no verifications.

Up to now I have 870 submissions and zero verified.

Am I doing something wrong.

To be honest Ive watched lots of videos all promoting different setting/Options and email settings from having hundreds of email accounts and others just having one per project.

None solve the verification process issue I am having.

Any advice/tips would be appreciated.

My first project is to a money site and so dont want to mess it up. I followed a video which talked me through the setup but its somewhat changed and still cant get verified links.

Help please. thanks also.

  • Wow, this definitely doesnt do what it says on the tin. After following setup options for several of the videos It just doesnt do what it says on the tin.

Maybe it was great a few years ago but seems like it doesnt do a lot these days.

If you're planning on doing mainly web 2.0's, SERengines will be your best bet, but you might want to wait for version 2: https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/3192/serengines-com-web-2-0-engines-official-thread/p60

For articles, its important to have good proxies, good emails (spam filter disabled) and captchas. Make sure your emails have spam filter off. I believe banditim and http://buybulkaccount.com/ should have working email accounts.

It's hard to say why you aren't getting any verifieds without knowing more of your settings like how you setup proxies, options, etc.

If you really want to get maximum verifications and you aren't that used to the software, you can always try a verified list. These are lists that people sell which have been confirmed to bring in a good amount of verified links.

You can also scrape and import your own lists if you are experienced with scraping lists yourself. Feeding SER lists helps it build links faster instead of having SER do all the scraping. This is what the majority of power users do these days.

I just turned on a dummy campaign using only article engines, captcha breaker, 10 proxies and letting it scrape from the search engines on its own. It's only been running a few minutes and I already have some verifications so I would say that is definitely something with your settings.

You can always stop a project > right click on it > set status > active (verify only). Then you can start it again and it will try to run through the verification process. I rarely do this myself, I just let it verify naturally most of the time, but you can give that a try if you want.

  • Thanks s4nt0s.
    I have 30 private proxies from BuyProxies.org.
I have a set of 200 yahoo emails (one for each project) - Emails have spam filter off.

To be honest I would sooner get it working myself rather than buy proxy lists. (that would be a step 2 for me)
Basically because I have already purchased some and they produced... well to little to even mention a percentage.

I also got the lists when I purchased the software and loaded 600k in and its been running for a couple of hours and I have 5 verifications and 261 submissions.

I have CapchaSniper as primary and DeathByCaptach as secondary

Here are some screenshots of settings:

Thanks for the response by the way s4nt0s

I actually only came across negatively so someone might reply. I actually think its great but Im not able to make it so.

    Thanks Again I appreciate it.

  • Originally I set this first project up from one of the video tutorials (cant remember which) as a money site safe setting but it was so safe all it did was collect a load of amazon.com web 2.0s and wouldnt verify them.

So I removed amazon and dug deeper into the tutorials but then ended up with many mixed settings which brought me to the point in the images attached.

    Thanks again.

A few things to try for better results:

    1) Use less search engines. I see you have 25 selected, maybe try the big 3 like Yahoo US, Google US, MSN (BING)

    2) I see on your email verification tab you have it set to delete emails if longer than 1 day. The default 5 days works well for me. Having it set to 1 day might be causing issues.

    3) Every once in a while I would enable proxies for emails but most of the time I had it disabled and that seemed to work fine for me. One thing I would do is add more than 1 email per project. I usually throw in 3-5 emails per project unless I need more (posting on same domain twice)

Maybe try experimenting with disabling proxies for email checking just in case that's causing any issues. If that doesn't make a difference, you can enable again.

Here's what my email settings look like: (very basic)

    image

    4) In your data tab you had it set to "mydomain.com" so I'm assuming this is an experimental campaign. If you're experimenting, I would completely disable the "pause project after x amount of verifications" as well as the "reverify existing backlinks". You mentioned you were mainly using article/web 2 engines so the pages there don't really move like a guestbook/image comment would so reverifying contextual sites might just be unnecessary resources. Also that option is more useful for tiered projects. It's up to you though :)

    5) In the options tab you have it set to "skip hard captchas" but you mentioned your fallback service is deathbycaptcha. If you're experimenting, I wouldn't waste credits on DBC so that's a good option but when it comes time for your real project, you would want to disable that so recaptcha and harder captchas get passed on to DBC. People mainly forward recaptcha to a secondary service but with the option you have selected now, its skipping recaps completely.

    6) Here's my settings screen. You might want to leave the proxies enabled for verification too if you want to stay anonymous, I'm not too worried about that for verification so I just leave it disabled.

    image

    7) Since you are letting SER scrape, make sure you load in plenty of keywords.

Regarding the 600k list you bought, I'd assume it was most likely just a scraped list, not really a verified list. A good verified list should yield a high amount of verifieds. People do 100k verifieds/day easy with good lists. Of course making your own is better, but again, that's requires learning some more tools.

After you make some changes to your settings, it might be best to start with a fresh project so you can monitor the improvement better. You can right click on that project you already made > modify project > duplicate > just data/options. (don't forget to delete the old emails and replace with new ones) Make the tweaks to that project and see how it goes.

I'm off to bed now. Hopefully some of those changes help.
  • Thanks s4nt0s
    It runs a lot smoother...

440 registered sites and 6% verified (26) - which is a lot better.

    But...

1 - Most of those are chinese profiles (PJBlog sites) and maybe I don't want them on a first tier? The video made those a choice though?

2 - Also it verified a site with the word "porn" in the domain which is in the filter. - pornster.club

3 - I removed amazon.com web2.0's because it just registers loads and verifies none.

I searched the forum for solutions to the amazon issue as I would really like to have these sites verified as there are loads of them.

I just thought I would mention these things as an effect of your changes which made a big difference. 6% is better than the 0.001% originally.

I could possibly bump this right up I could solve the  amazon.com sites issue though.

Thanks again, much appreciated for your valuable input.

    1) That's completely up to you. If you want to disable profiles you can go open the project, scroll down to where it says "type of backlinks to create" and then uncheck, Profile-Anchor, Profile-Contextual, Profile-URL.

    2) You should enable "skip sites with the following words in the URL/Domain" and add the word "porn" there.

    3) Ya, I saw a  post about that yesterday, I don't think amazon is currently working so I would disable that.
  • Thanks s4nt0s

    Again much appreciated.

The thing about the word porn is that it is already there and ticked. Maybe its a bug.

Cheers and good luck with your stuff. I wont change things at present as I will most likely do some tests to increase the current settings.

Oh... by the way could you enlighten me a little on GSA Indexer.

Im presuming that GSA SER finds, or makes the posts/BACKLINKS.
Then GSA Indexer Indexes the BACKLINKS that GSA SER makes.

    Thanks.

Lastly After ReVerifying and submissions being removed the actual results of your changes were as follows.

    94 Actual Submissions - 66 Actual Verifications.

    Thats approx 71%

You Rock Matey, Thanks a lot for the tips and advice and settings and everything else.

    All the best.

Good to hear your verification is getting better. It's just a matter of tweaking things until you get the results you're looking for; it's good you're on the right track.  =D>

The indexer works alongside SER and automatically submits the verified links created by SER to stat type sites to help with indexing. So yes, SER builds the links and sends them to the indexer as they get verified, then the indexer handles the rest automatically.

  • Thanks s4nt0s

    I really appreciate it.

Ive heard a few people in here make mention of a tool that you use to get the GSA footprints for use in scrapebox.

Il search but if you know where to point me Id appreciate it.

    Thanks again for everything.

@hawk007 - Actually, that was a small tool I shared years ago on BHW before you were able to easily extract footprints from SER. Now you can do it in SER so that tool is pointless, and the tool is a bit outdated.

To grab the footprints from SER you can click the big options button > advanced tab > tools menu > search online for URL's, add predefined footprints.

It would be better to grab them from there instead of my old tool because it had issues with some foreign language footprints.
  • Thanks s4nt0s

Very much appreciated, all the best with your projects etc.

    Thanks.

    @hawk007

I see allot of settings from you which can be improved, specially proxy use settings. I suggest you take a look at this post i did. Scroll down to the settings section.

  • @royalmice I actually read that post whilst I was first setting up after the initial attempts following a video in the tutorial section for tier one use.

I will take a look again. Cheers,

Hey guys. So I seem to be having a similar problem. I'm trying to follow what you've laid out, but I swear I must be missing something, and I think it's with the emails.

I've purchased about 1000 yahoo accounts from buybulkaccounts, but none of my articles are able to verify due to an inability to verify the site account. Do you have any recommendations for setting up email services and stuff on a Tier 1 level? Ty in advance, and sorry for newbishness.
  • What I did was follow these video tutorials. (Set of 3 I think)...

Then asked my question in here.

s4nt0s then gave me the advice to change my settings to get them working.

I followed some videos and was advised to get loads of emails but that only seemms the case after a while when youve set loads of campaigns going.

Following the settings on this post that s4nt0s gave increased my verified.

Then I saved the settings to form a MY DEFAULT setting to work from. (learn as I go).
But now I can run it for a couple of hours and get about  (im limiting myself to start) 60 links per day, whilst I work on it.

If you scroll up and set the email settings (after testing the emails work) as s4ent)s says and then do the same with the proxies, you should be good.

I set the emails as s4ent0s said THEN changed tested, and only then changed the proxies, and changing the proxies kicked it into gear and so it seems proxies are a big deal. Not exactly sure how.

NOTE: As I mentioned I watched the 3 videos on the tutorial page, THEn asked my question here.

I have watched loads of videos and all seemed to look as though they were experts but theyre not.

Just look on youtube at the dingbats giving reviews and their opinions and start out showing you what the box looks like. DERRR.

I learned my lesson and ask myself this question on a regular basis.: WHO DO YOU LISTEN TO?

    ANSWER: The BEST.

So I always seek out the top bloke who on here seems to be s4ent0s and a few others. OR go straight to support, even though they say look in the forum first.

If you look on the forum first, look for the famous guy in there. And on here its now me. LOL.
    Good luck.

(Just kiddin, dont listen to me, listen to me tell you about someone who actually knows though).
