Whenever I open up GSA then press the start button it shuts down?

I don't get any error message or anything like that it just shuts down about a second or so after pressing the start button. What I have noticed is if I set the status to inactive on all my projects it doesn't shut down, but once I start activating them it closes again?

any ideas?

    Even though it opens with my name in the top left corner by the version number?
