No proxies

edited January 2013 in Need Help
Hi, running SER with no proxies how is this affecting amount of submissions. I get 4-5k submissions a day and wonder if 50 shared proxies would give more submissions/day. Also what other effects does running without proxies have?

    No proxies means your
(connection) IP address will get blacklisted in no time.
In case you use a VPS, the VPS’s IP will get blacklisted. Be wise and use proxies.
  • Thanks for the reply.
What is so bad about getting blacklisted? Who exactly would be blacklisting me?
  • Google, and any search engine you using.

Thanks. I am using 156 search engines, all the English ones. I wonder how much proxies would help, say 50 or 100 and how much they would increase number of submissions by not blocking my searches.

That's why you haven't been blacklisted yet, because you use so many SE's.

So running SER 24/7 for months on end using that many SE's will keep me from getting blacklisted? I think after 2 months of doing exactly that I should be safe right?  Nothing to my knowledge has happened yet. Is there a way to check if I'm blacklisted? Thanks
