GSA SEO Indexer - Verify links before submitting

I found that my GSA SEO Indexer are never able to keep up with the links being send to it and completing the submission, this result in links sitting in it for months before they actually get submitted and by that time half of the links that were verified links are now dead links, resulting in waste of time submitting dead links.

Would it be possible to have a option to re verify the next link in line before it is submitted and if found to be dead it get's removed from the que.

To detect if it's dead or not, it needs to have informations on what to look for. At least for pages not returning a 404/5xx error code.

I was thinking the very same thing recently. It takes days to process 50k links for example, but by the time maybe half are already dead so it's a waste of resources/time.

In scrapebox for "alive check" add on , they give you the option to specify what response code need to be returned, I normally use code 200 or sometimes when i am checking checking redirects I use, 200, 301, 302, if a page return anything but the specified it is considered as not alive.

Even if it just remove 404/5xx error codes responses that will help.
