Whats difference between Remove Duplicate URL and Domain

There are two different options, one for Remove Duplicate URL and the other for Remove Duplicate Domain but I do not know what the difference is.

To me, a URL and a DOMAIN are the same thing.

Can anybody explain the difference?

No thats not the same. Let's take this as sample:

URL: http://address-completion.gsa-online.de/faq.php

Domain: http://address-completion.gsa-online.de/faq.php

SubDomain: http://address-completion.gsa-online.de/faq.php

Top Level Country Domain: http://address-completion.gsa-online.de/faq.php

Path: http://address-completion.gsa-online.de/faq.php

Parameters: http://address-completion.gsa-online.de/faq.php?param=1

Okay so the DOMAIN can match but the URL can still be different.

So I probably want to remove duplicate URLs since they would be exact matches with each other?

well you can do both. Normally you do not want to spam a domain with all kinds of links, one link i enough. So de-dupe on the domain.
