Duplicated project email won't log in

I have duplicated a couple of projects so I could promote a different URL, etc.  When I am done I find that the email from the original doesn't work in the new project and that if I change it (I like to change emails) it still wont work.

I checked my server to see if it was sending/receiving emails from other projects and it is.

How do I fix the email problem on duplicated projects?

    The duplication of projects can't be the problem here. It is really all duplicated, also the email settings.

    Maybe that email provider does not allow you to log in to fast (some require you to wait like 15 minutes between logins)?

  • I got it fixed by deleting the email, trying to close the project and having GSA tell me to put in an email.  Once I entered the new email it allowed me to test and verify that it was working.
    I don't know why, but that is how I did it.
