GSA Options - I am puzzled.

All right, so the GSA Options has some settings for the "Use Proxies" button (Search Engines, Verification, Email Verification etc)

What I don't get is what do those do, for example if I uncheck "Verification", GSA won't verify the links or what?

If somebody could explain to me what those do I would be grateful!

It would NOT use proxies for verifying the links, but would still verify links (unless you tell it not to through project options.)
