Oh nooooes... I am experiencing this also!

Can we have an explanation of what " Stop projects with status Active (Pause) " is meant to do.

In my ideal world I was thinking that this would mean that GSA would skip the paused projects when choosing what projects are running under schedule.

Phew!... unchecking that " Stop projects with status Active (Pause) " means I can still run with Scheduler as it used to although I am wishing for the functionality of SKIPPING Paused projects when on scheduler. That would make sense to me as if GSA picks 5 projects from a set of 10 on pause then those unpaused projects will get a hammering rather than a even spread if there were 10 projects all live and taking threads.

I have the same problem and let Sven know last night so hopefully a fix is on the way. Have wanted this feature for months! Cheers Svengali!

    fixed sorry :(
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne
Just tried the new feature and bang, 2gig memory and all projects running
  • BrumnickBrumnick
Cheers Sven - look forward to giving it a whirl!

Does it replace it with a new project or just stop it?
I.e. is it possible for scheduler to have all active (p) projects at any point? or do they now get swapped out with a new one if they get active (p)
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

Wahoooooo, more daily links with todays release :D

Might hit the 1/4 million daily submissions with this one

I was half way there today when I killed ser

An "Active (P)" is stopped and a new one is started.
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

Oh yes, tried and tested and its up to high lpm quicker :D

  • BrumnickBrumnick
Yet, it's rattling along for me too!

Sven, is it a temporary or permanent stop?

Will it turn itself on again the next day, and go back into the scheduler until it builds its quota?

Cheers mate, you are the top boy!

Sorry this may be a dumb questio but what is active(p) and where can i get documentation on how to ues the secheduler?  thanks!
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

    Active parked.

If you limit your links to any project, it means it has hit the limit set

  • sonic81sonic81
    Thanks!
  • sonic81sonic81
is there an option in v5 to turnthis on or is it done automatically?
  • BrumnickBrumnick
Go to the scheduler option and there is a check box there..
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

Looks like there might be a bug in it

All my top level projects had hit the submissions for the day.

It hits them once and then moves onto the next.

Hits them again and starts submissions again

  • sonic81sonic81
sorry this is kinda of driving me nuts i can't find the option what do you mean by scheduler option?  i went into the project -> edit->options can't see a new setting anywhere.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
click the down arrow next to the big "Start" button on the main form.
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne

Little down arrow next to the big Start / Stop button

Click that and the scheduler will show up

  • sonic81sonic81
    perfect thanks guys!
  • BrumnickBrumnick
It seems to be stopping mine okay...
  • nicericenicerice
Oh Nice... thanks @Sven... it works...

Can we maybe re-word that text to say Skip projects instead of Stop projects as I found it confusing?

I didn't want them to stop... I just wanted them to be skipped if paused which it is doing now :)
  • KayKayKayKay
also it would be great if you could shedule only some campaigns and let some run unsheduled @sven
  • LeeGLeeG Eating your first bourne
Its working rather well, some might say :D
  • babababa
    Hi,

how to hide scheduler dialog box after project scheduling?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
You can't as it should always stay on top to remember you that the scheduler is active.
  • babababa
    Ok thanks
