To spin or not to spin

So I've read a lot here over the past few days and the general consensus seems to be, not to spin your Tier 1 articles but... to manually write/add them. However can someone please point me in the right direction for where / how to find a good place to post them to? I have written two good articles and want to stick them up somewhere, then I intend to use spun articles for Tier 2 to point to them. The problem is finding where to put the Tier 1 articles in the first place.

Pardon my ignorance but, setting up a new Wordpress blog and adding an article to it, is that an advisable approach? I thought it would be better to try to get my articles on existing sites with PR
  • Err, yea the higher the domain PR the more authority and juice it will carry. When you create your page on any of these sites your page PR will obviously be 0. You then build more links to this page and over time it will accumulate page PR all of its own.

Just make sure to not drop your links for a couple of weeks and then login and place them. That will give mods time to see it and not delete it since it will be obvious what your up to:)
  • @takeachance As far as i know for typepad you have to pay a monthly fee. Is that worth it ? Or is there another way ?
  • I create web.20 manually, add unique realted content. than blast spintax articles on it...

I dont use squiddoo, they sometimes kill ya account.

wordpress, tumbler, livejournal is great and fast.

I would not PAY for a FREE BLOG!!! NEVER!!

thanks for the list, I will try some other web.2.0.

blogger is great, but phone verfiy suck$. I dont have that many cell phones ..........
  • and weebly stinks. complicated if you know blogger or wordpress..
  • takeachance........ you can place links instant....... no mods will kill the b logs..... testet on tumbler, WP and blogger..........

but squiddoo? just dont use it. too risky..

also, I am not a fan ob building "small web.20" blogs ..... just one content, then next free blog.

rather have 10 free blogs with 1 article , than 3 free blogs with 3-4 posts
  • squidoo is great .. you add your stuff and bang its indexed .. but it has to be realy unique else they will kick it fast

    Done it again!!

Summary cos not typing it for 3rd time:

Add extra content to web2.0 to make them look more natural

I use Weebly and Squidoo and yes they are more fiddly, but I find them easy to rank alongside money sites, so means less SERPs for competitors.

    Will now restart browser :-)
