Wrong link for anchor text?

One of my projects has a certain link that redirects the anchor text to, and I have found a weird problem where that anchor text would not redirect the link to the link I actually put and would redirect it to the raw domain. 

Ex : Link I want to have on my anchor text : www.test.com/example

Link I get : www.test.com

Any help please?

    Thats propably an option you turned on to also take the root url in some variations.

    The "Use the root/main url with %" option is not checked, but the "Try to use domain/generic anchor with main anchor" is, could that be the problem?

    No, that one will only create links like "REAL_ANCHOR (click here)" or "REAL_ANCHOR (www.domain.com)"
