That's because web 2.0's mainly run on their own platform so there aren't footprints available. Each web 2.0 has to have its own engine scripted specifically for that website so you can't really scrape to find more of them, the submission wouldn't work.
You can try social networks/article sites to find more contextual platforms.
It's not having to search because they are fixed URLs. If you look a the web 2.0's you can see they're named by their domain like flixya.com. That's because its posting on flixya.com, it's not searching for more web 2.0's because that specific engine is made to post on flixya.com
